I am offering vintage AKG C28 tube microphone manufactured by AKG in the 60's.  First version of C28 based on 6072 tube was made manufactured in the 50's and was a first small diaphragm capsule microphone made by AKG as a companion for very famous C12 large diaphragm vocal microphone.  The version I am selling is later one with electronics based on 7586 Nuvistor tube. As far as I know that version is called C28C, but for some reason matching head says C28B. Usually those version is coming with later CK1 capsules. THIS ONE IS NOT. The capsule equipped is CK28 - simply the best AKG small diaphragm capsule they ever did. Microphone is coming in original box with NOS nuvistor tube and new cables to get flawless working. The one side of the grill has very slight deformation of original shape (see the pictures) otherwise very good or excellent. The sound is warm and detailed for any kind of instrument. Original PSU was modified to get the quietest possible operation of the microphone and soft heating  when turned to the power. PSU is working from 220 or 110V. Heating might be set from 4 till 6,3V. Currently set at more than 5V. It was optimal sounding  in my set-up. Well, you are getting very nice classic in PLUG AND PLAY condition for immediate studio use, however I am not able to issue any warranty for 50 years old microphone. If you have further questions, feel free to drop a line.Shipping to Germany or most other European countries will be around  30 USD to the States it will be more expensive – around 90 USD. The unit is property of my studio and will be invoiced at selling amount ( I am not able to declare lower value than it is actually is, so please do not ask, I am sorry). PLEASE WAIT FOR MY INVOICE BEFORE MAKING ANY AUTOMATIC PAYMENT, WHICH MIGHT GIVE YOU NOT THE RIGHT AMOUNT.  Thank you.
