This is an awesome and collectible 1987 D-35! It plays great and sounds better. One of the early Martins with an adjustable truss rod. Only issues is that the neck angle slopes down where the neck meets the body, but the neck angle itself is great. This could be fixed with shimming the tongue, but does not NEED to be done. Looks like the neck has been reset. Also, the back body binding is rough and not totally even. the finish around it is cloudy from light sanding. The binding is on the guitar though. Very slight damage around the bottom of the bridge where it was reset. NOTE: There is a slight crack in the bridge where the saddle sits on both sides. Also one wear spot on the back of the neck. Cosmetic, not Structural. End pin drilled and ready for a pickup. NO BODY cracks! This classic Martin is solid! Comes with original case.
