Gibson ES-295Cosmetic Condition-9 out of 10. Shows light play wear. Neck-straight, Slim Profile, frets are in excellent shape (90%), action is low.Weight-7.3 pounds.Comes with the original hardshell case. One of the rarer discontinued models ever offered by Epiphone, this ES-295 was produced in Korea's Peerless factory, widely considered to be the home of many of the best Epiphone guitars ever made outside the USA. A stunning recreation of the 1950s ES-295, this guitar conjures the best of Scotty Moore's early work with Elvis and without a doubt has some of the best hardware and most ornate cosmetics of any Epiphone model. With a stunning gold metalflake finish, signature flower pickguard and Epiphone branded Bigsby B7, this ES-295 absolutely sings and sounds as good as it looks. For meaty midrange and P-90 growl, this guitar excels and works well for a wide range of styles, with complex jazz chords sounding articulate and dynamic on the neck pickup and plenty of top end and twang on tap in the bridge position. This ES-295 keeps up with your favorite Gibson and sounds great! The neck has a medium C profile with a smooth gloss finish on the back of the neck and your standard Gibson 1 11/16" nut width. The rosewood fretboard sports pearl split parallelogram inlays and original frets that show only the faintest wear on frets 1-3 and virtually no wear up the neck. This guitar has barely been played since it was new and the frets are practically perfect. The headstock features Kluson style tuning machines with aged green buttons and the Epiphone name and crown logo inlayed in pearl. All of the electronics work as they should, with a pair of P-90 pickups on graduated gold risers to give them the appropriate height. The Bigsby B7 vibrato works particularly well, responding quickly with a light touch on the bar and jumping back into tune well. The Tune-o-Matic bridge with floating rosewood base has very solid intonation and is a great counterpart to the Bigsby vibrato in terms of playability and tuning stability.
The original Epiphone hardshell case is included.
