Open to International Bidders!! This No Reserve auction, is for a pre-owned 2010 Johnny Craviotto "Vintage Tribute Series" "BIG SID" snare drum. These Tribute snare drums were commissioned by Steve Maxwell, and were only available at his shops. This drum has a two badges, a Craviotto badge with no serial number, and a special "BIG SID" nameplate. The inside of this amazing drum is hand-signed by Johnny Craviotto himself.“Big Sid” This one is for the one and only Big Sid Catlett- 6.5x14 with 8 brass tube lugs- Walnut one ply steam bent shell with two contrasting maple inlays, one about an inch and a half from the top of the shell and one about an inch and a half from the bottom of the shell.- Three point strainer with Craviotto butt plate- Die cast rims- Steve Maxwell Collection name plate numbered “1 of 1” and inscribed “Big Sid”.- Retail $3750The solid walnut one-ply shell is tight and perfectly in round, and the interior glue-rings are not delaminated or split in any way.One small chip in the exterior surface of the solid walnut shell. It is located at the bottom of the drum, below the strainer assembly. It can only be seen by removing the bottom drum head and hoop.This drum looks amazing and it really sounds great!! The shell is perfectly in round, and it will easily accept modern REMO and EVANS drum heads. Both of the original Craviotto signature logo drum heads are included with this drum, along with a set of Puresound snare wires.This drum is factory equipped with 8 tube snare lugs, two die-cast hoops, 16 tension rods, A 3-point Craviotto snare strainer and matching butt plate. All of the parts are nickel plated, and as you can see from my pictures, all of the nickel hardware is brightly polished, and every piece is in fantastic condition. The original Craviotto padded gig bag is included with this auction.Shipping and Handling to Domestic U.S.A. adresses will cost $35.00 for this item.
