"DONMO RUSTBUCKET TRICONE"
Rustbucket tricone guitare handmade by Don Morrison in Australia. Cones are National Resophonic ones. Fantastic soundin' guitar, perfect for blues à la Tampa Red or Catfish Keith! Only thing I have two Donmos and I only use the single one, more Duolian style, as I'm way too limited to play anything else than super, simple slide blues. Regular scale and set up for hybrid playing. This guitar is Donmo #300. These guitars are only made on order. Worth 2350$ with slotted headstock like this one which is almost like new. Will ship with original case seen on pic. Unlike some other brands each Donmo is unique and this deserves to be played.

"Rustbuckets are made from old sheets of corrugated steel that I scrounge from building demolition sites and farms etc. I flatten the sheets as best I can by walking on them (luckily I'm no lightweight!) so I can fit them through my ancient set of sheet metal rollers and then the material is fine to use.
Much of this material is more than 100 years old and can be identified by the makers stamps that I use on the backs of my guitars. I have found that the newer stuff (from about 1965 on) is too brittle to use for guitar making"
