The 12-fret design incorporates a unique bridge positioning and positioning of the neck to the body, which gives the 612ce 12-Fret some added midrange power and punch in comparison to the standard 612ce. Featuring gorgeous figured maple back sides, customized bracing with maple-specific back bracing, and a temperature-aged torrefied Sitka spruce top, the 612ce 12-Fret has a full, deep, broken-in voice that sets it apart from other similarly-appointed guitars. At the same time, the 612ce 12-Fret still retains maple's incredible clarity, articulation, tonal focus and treble sparkle. Carved from hard rock maple, the fingerstyle-friendly short-scale neck is capped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard for superb playability and comfort.
