This auction is for a used 1967 Blackface Fender Deluxe Reverb Combo Amp.This chassis has a serial #A21XX1 which is from mid 1967. It is the cleanest Blackface Deluxe Reverb Chassis that I have ever encountered. All the components on this chassis have 1966 identification marks (see pics). I guess this amp should be known as a RAT ROD AMP (Where the "Goods" are in the chassis, and the cabinet displays 50 years of use). When it came to me, the prior owner had cut the original Cabinet down to a head which I have replaced with an original 1967 Deluxe Reverb cabinet. The grill cloth original to that cabinet. However the baffle condition was not suitable and a new baffle was made on a cnc router. The Speaker is a 12" Jensen CONCERT VIBRANTO which dates to 1971. These speakers were never original equipment in any Fender Amp. They have a 1 pound magnet and were originally sold as bass replacement speakers, but guitarists loved them for the exquisite tone. I have kept this one for many decades waiting for the right amp. Finally I have left the cabinet as found: The Tube chart is torn but shows the correct "AB763" Circuit.The Tolex that exact current condition that exists today (without editorial comment on its history).
