For auction.Ludwig Classic Maple 3 piece drum kit -- Monroe, N.C Keystone Badge from the 1990s.These are Ludwig's top line series of drums -- comparable to any pro series drums from other makers like DW, Pearl, Tama, Gretsch, Mapex, Yamaha, etc. Clean and solid drums with all maple shell.The color is transparent lacquer that is mostly black with a slight hint of blue -- woodgrain shows through the lacquer. I do not know the official color name but am told that this was a limited color run and that this color is relatively hard to find. The drums are in overall very good condition considering their age and use -- clean interiors and bearing edges, solid chrome hardware. Details noted below for each drum.3 piece kit.22 x 16 bass drum, Evans Level 360 batter head and ported front head. Ludwig ball and socket heavy duty tom mounting post with built-in clamp for mounting cymbals and other gear. Two of the four screws that mount the tom mounting port are nonoriginal. The original matching hoops have been replaced with chrome hoops giving the drum at bit of a vintage look. Very nice lacquer finish. 12 round x 10 inch deep mounted tom with new Evans Level 360 heads. The tom has an area of rash on one side where some of the clear lacquer has been removed -- not very noticeable in the photos.16 x 16 floor tom on legs, new Evans Level 360 heads. Very nice lacquer exterior finish.The drums deliver warm tone with lots of resonance and punch. Wide tuning ranges.Pricing the kit to sell.Paypal payment.
