You are looking at a 2003 Adamas Guitar Model 1597. Features a unique carbon-fiber soundboard 2 - .005" layers of unidirectional graphite on either side of a .035" layer of birch. Orientation of the birch grain to the graphite fibers enhances high-frequency response without loss of bass or mids. Other features include the Optima Preamp Electronics, OP50, a mahogany and maple 5-piece neck, Adamas fan-bracing pattern, and a special clear finish on top showing off the burgundy graphite fibers like wood grain. Considering its age it is in extremely fine condition and most of all…it plays and sounds excellent. Has a very mellow tone with the mid sized body. A few pick scratches, (it is 13 years old) but no dents, nothing broken, everything works as it should. New Elixir Nanoweb HD light strings were just installed. Not only does this guitar use a standard ¼ inch phone plug to connect to an amplifier, it also can be plugged strait into a PA system through the XLR jack which is a big plus if you are playing somewhere that has a PA, you don’t need to lug around your amp! This guitar is very easy to play, the strings are low with no fret buzz. The finger board shows some wear but no dips or valleys in the ebony and the frets are fine. Includes an Ovation hard shell case WITH key and an additional shim for the bridge (not needed, but there) She plays great…looks fantastic…what are you waiting for?!?!?
