Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a somewhat rare and desirable 1960's era Reslo ribbon microphone made famous by famous musicians like The Beatles while performing live early in their career. Reslo was a highly respected microphone manufacturer from The United kingdom making excellent mics and this model was no exception. This very compact little ribbon mic has a perfect satin chrome finish with perfect black Reslo badge. This was a low impedance microphone set at 600 OHMS that was great for any type of vocals including broadcasting and singing. This can easily be used at any live event but you'll want to use an inline transformer to boost the signal strength as it's not as impressive as say a Shure 330 mic. Many older ribbon mics need a little boost to get that signal strength up to par. i would not suggest a pre-amp as you risk damaging the mic but a good working inline transformer will do the job As you can see in the pics provided this mic is in excellent physical condition and has all the pieces. Nothing missing and the front and rear screens look terrific. This is honestly the nicest Reslo mic I have ever come across. The head of the mic swivels forward and backwards according to the users needs. If you are a Beatles fan and want something nice to show off in the home, studio or office this just might be for you and it comes with it's original 3 pin adapter that allows you to mount this mic to any desk or floor stand. The adapter has a perfect 18 foot cable that is free of any cracks. Soft pliable and has a chrome plated Switchcraft 1/4 inch end connector. Best part of this deal is the gorgeous original banquet desk stand that really compliments the mic and gives the user an adjustable height of 22 inches low (with mic attached) or 29 inches tall (with mic attached). The chrome on the stand is in very nice condition and the locking clutch mechanism works perfectly. The base is all metal with a perfect paint job with a hammered brown metallic color. The base is 6 1/4 inches wide and has 4 felt pads on the bottom to keep it from scratching any surface it may sit on. Even if you don't plan on using this mic it's going to draw plenty of attention anywhere it may happen to be displayed in the home, studio or office. As with all of my microphones and microphone related products...
