For your consideration, a 4 piece shell pack of vintage 1975-76 LUDWIG VISTALITE BLUE DRUMS with the POINTED BLUE & OLIVE BADGES in GOOD condition! The sizes are 14x22" bass drum, 8x12" mounted tom, 9x13” mounted tom and a 16x16" floor tom which is the typical Big Beat configuration! These drums have all of the telltale signs of being produced in 1975 or 1976:The seams line up with lugs.The muffler and badge are both directly opposite the mount.The 12" tom has the small classic lugs.The mufflers are the standard one screw verticle mount as opposed to the 3 screw horizontal mount.The badges have the pointed corners. Here is what you should expect to see concerning the condition of these drums:The shells themselves still shine but do have scratches and flaws. The 13" tom has had something splattered on it and may have reacted with the acrylic material or it may clean up with some elbow grease. The 16" floor tom has some as well but not as much. Please see the photos for further detail. As you may or may not know, vistailte from this era tend to have a few cracks. This set is an exception as the only crack is in the shell of the 12" tom and is short enough to be covered by the washer of the screw. Essentially, it is nothing too serious. All of the white plastic gaskets which sit behind the lugs, tom mounts, and spur mounts are present - none are missing! This set is missing no parts.The badges were originally lacking serial numbers but a previous owner added serial numbers, most likely for insurance purposes. The chrome lugs do have some light pitting but the hoops have rust and pitting. The bass drum hoops are still in usable condition but have some flat spots here and there. The bass drum does have the spurs and all of the T-handles and claws are present. A handful of the T-handles are bent.There is no 781 tom holder included.
