Ahh, another Elkhart from my collection. The 1970 Elkharts are considered by many to be the "last of the Elkharts" before the move to Abilene in 1972. Though some horns were made in Elkhart in 1971 and 1972, some can be of dubious quality with an unknown assembly location. As you can see from the photos, there are some dents and dings and lacquer loss, but this horn plays beautifully, and is as flexible as any 88H I've played. My wife and I need a new car so this horn has to go.This horn is in good condition, though I would recommend a chemical cleaning and a slide alignment. There is no wear through on the slide stockings, but slide action is about a 7/10. The inner slide tubes are not parallel. If you would like an alignment performed by my excellent technician, I can do so at cost before I ship the horn. Please message me for details.Case has a cigarette smoke odor, I can replace with a newer Conn or Bach case at no charge if you'd like. Older Schilke 51D mouthpiece included with sale, can include a Remington as well.
