Listed here is a wooden ended Wheatstone C/G 30 button anglo concertina made between 1937 to 1939 (serial number is: 50572). This concertina was recently serviced and tuned (A=440 mh). . The replacement bellows are brand new. Each note and button works properly. This instrument has concertina steel reeds set in brass shoes (or frames) and makes a sweet sound typical of Wheatstone concertinas. The reeds are set in a radial reedpan and each reed unit slides in and out of their individual groove. The concertina comes with an concertina carrying case. This concertina does not have riveted action but the "hook and spring" type action.
Please note that the concertina's Wheatstone serial number was lost when it was refurbished a year ago but a new replacement serial number has been order from Steve Dickinson of the Wheatstone Concertina Company in the UK. The inside frame of the concertina does have the original serial number stamped on it.
