Up for auction is a Gibson les Paul studio that I converted to look like a les Paul custom. The guitar is a genuine Gibson guitar that I bought several years back with a bad busted neck. Instead of just replacing the neck I went all out and turned it into a studio custom. As I said the neck has been replaced a volute was added and the thickness of the headstock increase to prevent it from ever breaking as bad as it had previously. The body in not chambered and the original serial number has been stamped into the back of the new headstock. The guitar also has a new ebony fretboard with genuine mop inlays, a nos custom headstock overlay and new bindings on front and back multi ply binding did not come out perfect but looks good. The pickups are the original Gibson 498 pups electronics and all hardware is genuine Gibson as well. The guitar plays and sounds great. Has thick heavy gauge string on it at the moment. I don't want to get rid of it but I could use the money, guitar is used and sold as is with no returns My loss is your gain. The guitar comes with the original brown hardshell case. Payment is due within 24hrs after auction end. US bidders only will not ship this guitar outside of the US. The guitar is 100% together and playing the photos show some of the steps of the conversion process. The guitar has been used for several years since converting and shows small signs of wear. Thanks for looking.
