Hand-carved and graduated from solid select tonewoods and featuring a lightweight nitrocellulose finish for incredible projection, The Loar’s LM-600 Professional F-Style mandolin is an accurate replica of an original 1920’s F5-style model.The LM-600 features a solid hand-carved spruce top, solid hand-carved figured maple back and sides, a one-piece maple neck with rounded ‘V’ profile, bound ebony fretboard and an abalone and mother-of-pearl custom flower pot headstock inlay.This mandolin is waiting for a home in consumer hands! It is lightly stamped "used" on the back of the headstock. This designation means the instrument has a minor cosmetic blemish that got it set aside at the factory. It is a completely playable instrument with no sacrifice of tone, structure, or playability. This one has some buff-through in the finish color on the edges of the f-holes and in one spot on the fretboard support. There is a small dent on the bass side of the bridge and a small dent and scuff on the rear edge of the headstock tip. I have included a close-up photo of each imperfection. Otherwise, this instrument is in flawless condition!This mandolin has received a professional setup and plays very nicely. Constructed of all-solid woods and finished in a quality nitro-cellulose lacquer, it breathes and projects beautifully. It is ready to play!The featherweight case pictured is included.
