This is a Steve Carlson signed June 29,1992 Gibson F-5L "Fern" mandolin in nearly PERFECT condition. After 24 years, this instrument has Absolutely no marks, scratches, or even finish checking of any kind. Beautiful and looks brand new and virtually unplayed. The only flaw is a slightly warped pick guard. Sounds beautiful but needs to be played to open up.... I challenge you to compare this one to others on the market. All of the binding is clear and perfect, has no "yellowing". Gold tailpiece is perfect with no wear or tarnish. Original hard shell case In excellent condition. What more can I add. The pictures speak for themselves but still do not do justice. I have this mandolin for sale elsewhere so I reserve right to end auction early if it sells.
