FOR SALE: Here we have a sweet 1971 Gibson SG Standard. This one is in great shape! No breaks/repairs. It comes with the original pickups, in '71 they were just introducing the "tar back" PAF, and this one has one in the neck position, and at standard "Sticker PAF" in the bridge which was common for that era. The guitar is original, frets, pickups, tuners, bridge, hardware, etc but for the pots that were changed out sometime in the 80's. It was professionally done and still has the stickers on the pots. The Gibson "Bigsby" works and sounds great, and the guitar has no tuning issues, saddles are all good, etc. It does have some fret wear around the "cowboy chords" with no buzzes or playing issues. Plenly of fret life left. Neck is straight and true and the truss rod works perfectly. Comes with an era-correct case as shown. As for tone??? Just think Angus Young. This one has girth AND clarity, just what you want from your SG. When plugging in, you know exactly with your eyes closed the type of guitar you are hearing. Very "touch sensative" and having a working, stay-in-tune vibrato is awesome! Really nice guitar, we hate to sell it! WANT A SHORT VIDEO??
