Fender Precision Bass Neck and Tuners Made in the USA. The neck does have some marks and has been used. Please look at the photos.Genuine Fender Precision Bass neck (not a reproduction or Custom Shop product) from 1969. Factory stamp “5 AUG 69B” on the base of neck. FEATURES: constructed of one piece of solid maple with a rosewood fretboard and original truss rod. Truss rod is worn but still functions. Neck was installed on several instruments over the years and was removed from a reissue Mexican Fender Jazz Bass body. Screw holes were filled with hickory wood dowels to allow for redrilling by owner. Neck will sustain a standard light gauge 4- string set (.045 - .065 - .080 - .100) with slight neck relief. HISTORY: Purchased and installed in 1978 on a DiMarzio precision bass body and was removed for storage in 1983. Brought out of storage in 1992 and installed on a number of clone bodies.
