The Nash T-63 is a Vintage Tele model from Nash Guitars. Bill Nash designed the T-63 to create a guitar that isn't extremely expensive, yet still captures that great look, feel, and playability of a well played and loved 1963 Fender Telecaster. Not only does the T-63 look and feel like a vintage Tele, it also features a number of popular modern appointments, such as Lollar handwound pickups and Gotoh Vintage tuning keys.This guitar has aged control knobs, pickguard, dinged and scratched finish, and aged hardware. The modern techniques used to make the guitar ensure that it plays like a brand new instrument. Each Nash T-63 is built by hand, so each one is completely unique. It features a rosewood fingerboard, an alder body, and Jason Lollar hand-wound pickups. The entire guitar is given wear and tear via a relicing process. Body: Alder. Neck: Maple Rolled Edges 21 Frets Single Adjustment Truss Rod w/ Heel Adjust. Neck Shape: Medium C / Headstock: Vintage Correct Headstock / Nut: Tusq / Nut Width: 1 5/8 / Frets: 6105 / Bridge: Vintage 3-Saddle / Gotoh Vintage tuners / Pickguard: 3 Ply w.b.w / Electronics: Volume, Tone, 250K CTS pots, Sprague Orange Drop capacitor, and CRL 3-way switch / Input Jack: Side Tele Cup Jack / Pickups: Lollar Handwound.About the Lollar Pickups in this guitar:Bill Nash selected the Lollar Vintage T for his neck pickups, and the Special T in the bridge. The Vintage T (neck) has a full bodied midrange, clear top end, sounds full clean and will break up an amp moderately. It's wound with larger diameter wire for less compression than typical tele neck pickups. Alnico 5 magnets. Vintage style cloth lead wire. Wax potted.The Special T (bridge) is a higher output version of the Vintage T Series Bridge with a rounder top end, a little more midrange, and more bottom end. Roll the tone control back a bit and get a somewhat convincing P-90/vintage humbucker tone. Flat pole design with graded Alnico 5 magnets. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Wax potted.The guitar has been fully set up by our tech and is playing great. Supplied with a used Fender ABS hard shell case. Serial:MNT-1. Weight: 7 lbs 4.5oz.
