The cornet is very close to new condition, no dings, lacquer is 100% with no areas of wear. The valves have been replaced and are in new condition. Appears to be a very nice playing instrument.Valves and slide in good working condition. Mouthpiece and bit included. The cornet was made 1882 to 1886 with a number of 3329.Henry Distin was manufacturing instruments in London and sold to Boosey in 1868. Moved to Philadelphia in 1882 and was contracted to Pepper. In 1886 he moved to Williamsport PA. The Brass Players Museum - Springfield MA
