Here’s a mint condition Yamaha Japan Bobby Shew Model YFH6310Z professional flugelhorn outfit complete with deluxe locking Yamaha case and original Bobby Shew flugel mouthpiece. This horn was purchased new by the previous newer and barely played, so it is in mint condition and is 100% ready to play right out of the case. The beautiful shiny silver plated finish is 100% intact and has just been polished to a mirror shine. Yamaha silver finishes are very durable and hold up well through time. The Yamaha Model YFH6310Z was designed to be a top quality, top of the line professional model flugelhorn and the quality level of craftsmanship on this horn is world class. Famous trumpet player Bobby Shew has endorsed this flugelhorn and was involved with the designing of this model. Serial number is 437XXX, the casing is stamped "YFH6310Z" and "Made In Japan". Bell flare is engraved "YAMAHA ESTABLISHED IN 1887". This flugelhorn has silky smooth quick valves and all slides move freely and have just been lubricated. There is a 3rd slide trigger which fits the hand really comfortably and really comes in handy while playing. Horn is in ready-to-go shape and is very straight and solid. Check out the 12 photos I've posted to see what a great gently used horn this is. The previous owner took really good care of this baby. This flugelhorn also features mother-of-pearl finger buttons, adjustable leadpipe, and 3 traditional lever style waterkeys. It is a superb player in all ranges as you would expect from a professional Yamaha instrument bearing Bobby Shew's name.
