• I'm selling this Getzen Capri cornet for a fellow brass band mate who purchased this to start playing in our British Brass Band. He played this horn to see if he really enjoyed the music and recently purchased the Holy Grail of brass band cornets, a new Besson Sovereign. It was originally polished lacquer, but he's pretty fussy and sent it to Anderson Silver Plating in Elkhart IN had it stripped silver plated with gold wash in the bell. This is a great playing and looking instrument with great valve compression and slides. Original case with Getzen 7C mouthpiece. The only issue is the springs are broken on the case latches. Great starter horn for a student or beginning brass bander who wants a dark shepherd's Crook cornet on the cheap.
