So you thought you would never get the chance to play the exact version of the Univibe pedal Hendrix had on stage at Woodstock. The tone on Dark Side of the Moon just can't be duplicated through today's modeling chorus and vibrato. This is the first generation of the Univibe and the opportunity to own one seems to never happen. Well, now is your chance! I have seen the 2nd generation with the darker paint, single grip tape on the expression pedal, and updated resistors and capacitors occasionally, but never the first gen model 915. See the photos of Hendrix at Woodstock and in the studio. Also see the "brain" photo with the light bulb/ photo electrical cells. This shows some differences between the generations. Everything works perfectly and the tone is beautiful! All knobs work. There is a little crackle when turning the level knob, but never loses signal. A little electrical contact cleaner might be a good idea, but I didn't want to take the chance of damaging anything. I nervously unscrewed the bottom for the pictures, and didn't want to go any further. These rarities don't go cheap, but will only appreciate over time!
