UP FOR SALE HERE IS A RARE VINTAGE EARLY 1963 GRETSCH 6122 COUNTRY GENTLEMAN + OHSC AND CASE CANDY. ALL ORIGINAL AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITIONS FOR ITS AGE, NO BINDING ROT ANYWHERE. THIS GUITAR IS POSSIBLY FROM THE SAME BATCH AS GEORGE HARRISONS SECOND GRETSCH 6122 WHICH HE ACQUIRED IN EARLY 63. THIS ONE HAS THE VERY EARLY CLOTH BACKPAD.
THERE IS WHAT SEEMS TO BE A REPAIR IN THE FRONT FACE JUST BELOW THE PICKGUARD, IT'S VERY HARD TO SEE, COULD POSSIBLY BE A FACTORY REPAIR OF SOME SORT.
