Hello and good day You are looking at a 1968-71 Large Bore Getzen Severinsen, serial number SK9187. This horn is all original and has original case and keys in excellent condition. I am the 2nd owner.  The valve compression is really good for a horn almost 50 years old. I've been playing this trumpet on classical and lead gigs, although I much prefer it as a lead horn. The silver is 90% intact and cosmetically the horn only has one small crease near the flare of the bell. I showed in pics. It is not bad enough to repair so I left it alone.  The pull knob on the 2nd valve slide is missing. All of the slides and valves move freely and the horn is in excellent mechanical condition.  There is silver loss on the leadpipe where the previous owner rested his thumb. I also detect 2 pinhead sized spots of what could be red rot in this area on the leadpipe. I clearly show it in one picture. I have had 2 respected techs look at this horn. One said that he doesn't think it is red rot because it is only on this one area of the leadpipe where the previous owners thumb rested so he thinks that might have something to do with it. I got a second opinion and he said it could be red rot but it's only in this little area and the rest of the horn is extremely clean and smooth inside, showing no signs whatsoever. Both techs agreed the whole horn is very clean and smooth. Either way, they both said the lead pipe was in good shape inside and did not need to be replaced. I emailed Brett Getzen about the best lead pipe to put on this trumpet and he said the current model Getzen 900s Eterna classic is an exact replica of this Severinsen and model so it would be a perfect match.  The total of replacing the lead pipe would be around $200, so I am deducting that much from the starting price of this rare and awesome collectors horn. I have included a short video clip of me playing something on the staff with a classical mouthpiece and then up high with a lead mouthpiece. https://youtu.be/J4P3UEJpNZ8 Please feel free to ask any questions. No mouthpiece is included.
