This is in original bare brass. I've shown it to two good repairmen and a King collector who all agree. The horn is in good physical shape and playing well from Low D to High F.
It needs some adjustment on the bell keys where these amazing horns are less than forgiving. The pads are older but working and from low D on up you could gig with it as is. I'll include a neck strap with it.
These are amazing and unique horns and I've seen John Handy , Benny Maupin and most famously Roland Kirk use them live and sound just incredible with them.
This one comes in the original case in good clean functional condition and free of any musty odors. It does need a new handle and has the mounts.
