For Sale is the Tascam DS-M7.1 Surround Controller.  Perfect for group or isolated listening of any speaker combination.  The face plate detaches for easier reach, but I have never detached it, so there is no wear on the cable.  You can see from the pictures that the unit is unblemished and the faceplate is not worn.  This unit has about 100 hours of powered-up time and is virtually in Like-New condition.  I am the original owner, smoke-free environment.I am including a 36 foot Monster Studio Pro D-sub to XLR cable to connect the Tascam to a sub / speakers.
Ships in original packing material, insured, signature required.

TASCAM's DS-M7.1 is the only digital surround monitor solution, making it ideal for DVD-Audio music production, game development and post-production audio mixing. With audio resolution up to 96kHz/24-bit, the DS-M7.1's digital inputs in ADAT, AES/EBU and TDIF formats allow you to forgo costly D/A converters in your DAW mixing system. It adds multi-speaker monitoring control to digital consoles and DAWs, inlcuding a calibrated monitor level control. The DS-M7.1 duplicates the output buses of digital consoles, routing the signal to both a stem recorder and multiple amplifier/speaker combinations. The DS-M7.1 supports surround formats from LCRS up to 7.1 -- including 5.1 and 6.1 formats -- with the ability to downmix to mono or stereo from any surround format to check your mix on a smaller system. Individual outputs can be soloed or muted, allowing the engineer to check what is going to a particular channel. A stereo control room input allows you to bypass the DS-M7.1 surround routing when mixing in stereo. It adds switching between two sources for checking between thhe stem recorder and console out or monitoring an independant source. At a street price under ",000, the DS-M7.1 is the only serious choice for monitoring digital surround audio.
