Here we have an extremely rare 2006 Gibson SJ-250 Monarch! Only about 50 of these have ever been built so it's not often you have a chance to buy one. This particular example is from the days when Ren Ferguson was supervising their construction, so you know it's a great guitar. I've held onto this one for quite a while and played it more than any guitar during its time here. It's tone is just that good. And it's so comfortable to play. The exotic rosewood back and sides are just gorgeous. It features a Sitka spruce top, ebony fretboard and bridge, abalone and pearl crown inlays, and abalone purfling everywhere! This is one of the most beautiful guitars you'll ever see!The guitar is in excellent condition. There is an almost invisible top crack near the center seam in the top, probably 4 inches long or so. It's been expertly repaired and you'd be hard pressed to notice it if I didn't mention it. It's the most invisible top crack I've ever seen. There is also a small spot of discoloration near the soundhole, probably from a nitro reaction with something that touched the soundhole. There is no damage at the spot, just discoloration. The finish still feels exactly the same, with no change in texture. Aside from that the guitar is great. If you were to show the guitar to a friend, he'd think it was still a brand new guitar. It looks perfect.Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
