Vintage 1970's Meinhart-Schrieber for Heckel Bassoon w/ #2 Bocal, Seat Strap, Hand Crutch & Case, Made in Germany, Original Finish, Thoroughly Cleaned/Inspected/Serviced/Play Tested, Plays & Sounds Fantastic!!! #36688 Blues Angel Music is pleased to present this Meinhart Bassoon with Case and #2 Bocal! It shows noticeable, but normal cosmetic wear one would expect with a vintage instrument, yet is in Very Good Cosmetic Condition, and 100% Fully Functional Playing Condition! There are light areas of impressions and finish wear, including a few small areas of bare wood (see pics). The strap holder is made by Linton. It has been completely re-padded and re-corked here in our Shop, and plays wonderfully! The all-maple body is beautiful, and the tone is deep, rich and full! Comes with age appropriate Lifton Case in similar condition, Seat Strap, Hand Crutch, and #2 Bocal! Meinhart bassoons were produced in Germany by the Schrieber company for the Heckel factory for a short time during the late 1970's. The instrument you see is the one you will receive!
