Oboe Reed Profiler from Reeds N Stuff, Germany, with American scrape template. This machine is fully operational, purchased new in 2009, belonging to one owner. The profiling machine is gently used and has been used sparingly. The machine has adjustment screws to scrape various thickness on the cane surface. The machine shows a little wear on the insertion tip where the reed tip is inserted to be scraped. This machine is used to scrape the surface of the cane in the design of the template to create more consistent reeds and save wear on reed knives. It also saves time on the reed scraping process.
