Description

1950 Martin 0-15 All solid mahogany small body guitar A fantastic example - plays and sounds great and in very good cosmetic condition for its age. I imported this from the US and it needed a fair bit of work done to it due to age related issue - not abuse. So I took it to the only authorised Martin Dealer in the UK, Dave King, who did an absolutely outstanding job on restoring it to this great condition. Neck needed resetting (as most old Martins do) and there was a small split at the bottom of the back which was cleated. Now the guitar plays great and is ready for another 50 years or so playing and the buyer has the piece of mind that all work has been carried out and is 100% stable having 5 years gone by already. The action was set up by Dave King and has not been altered since. The height of the low fat string at the 12th fret is 2.5mm and at the same place the height of the thin high string is 1.5mm. This could be lowered via the saddle but the playability or sound would not benefit and would probably be compromised if the action were lowered. No bellying of the solid mahogany top or lifting at the bridge. This guitar is as good as it gets for a Martin 0-15. Minor cosmetic marks from being a played vintage guitar (as in pics) other than that near perfect. The guitar is also extremely light due to the aging of the woods and quality workmanship, which all adds to the beautiful sound ......

If you are looking for one of these then you may have found your Holy Grail. Selling as I have too many guitars and not the time to appreciate them so it's time to pass this beauty on and let someone appreciate it for its amazing sound, quality workmanship and easy playability. Very loud for such a small guitar. Postage at cost which is going to be around £50 fully insured Parcelforce 48 or 24. If you would like it sent another way then let me know - not a problem.   Thanks for looking
