This is one of 200 Faded models that were made for the Canadian market between 2010 and 2012. The guitar has received some major upgrades, all of which are reversible if you want to put the guitar back to stock. Here is a list of the upgrades: - Aged Faber lightweight locking aluminum tailpiece, cold-rolled steel bridge with brass saddles, and BSWKit bridge posts.
- Aged chrome pickup covers.
- Period-correct amber bell knobs and pointers.
- Amber switch tip.
- Paper-in-oil Jensen capacitors and treble bleed kit on neck and bridge pickups, for no tone degradation as you roll off the volume.
- Wired 50's style.I will include the original switch tip, speed knobs, bridge and tailpiece with this auction, should you desire to revert it to stock. CONDITION
The body is in overall excellent condition. There's a few small dings in the body, but the back is nearly flawless. No buckle rash or worming. The top has been polished with Virtuoso Polish. Please note that there is an area along the binding between the pickguard and the control knobs where Gibson didn't carry the finish all the way to the edge. It doesn't look bad at all; to me it just adds to the vintage vibe. I just wanted to make you aware of it. The case is in overall excellent condition as well. The outside has a few very minor marks from being stored. No rips or tears. In all, this is a great instrument that's been well cared for. You'll be really happy with this purchase. SHIPPING
