This guitar is an original USA 2014 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection Les Paul Standard that has been given the full extensive 'Real Deal Series' Deluxe Makeover by Kim LaFleur at Historic Makeovers. The guitar weighs 8lbs 1oz which is super light for a Standard and has an incredible authentic 50's looking flame top with a faded ice tea finish. The Makeover package includes correct vintage top carve, neck carve (59 profile), vintage style truss rod, hot hide glue neck set, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, celluoid inlays, Royalite binding, nylon nut, new frets and a vintage correct nitro cellulose finish with light distress work, authentic '59 serial stamp and a correct Les Paul Model silkscreen logo. The guitar looks just like a real burst, sounds and plays superb. This guitar is equal to, if not better than any high end replica at twice the price of this guitar. The guitar is as it left the Historic Makeover workshop and comes with a current reissue Lifton case.
