Burns/Weill ''Dallas''This guitar was made over fifty years ago and was a collaboration betweenJim Burns and Henry Weill which only lasted for a couple of years. Henry Weill wasresponsible for the electrics and Jim made the body, neck and headstock. It was very muchlike the early Burns guitars in shape, style and colour with red body and headstock andthe black neck fading into body and headstock which is exactly like the Vibra Artist andSonic models. And the pickups, knobs and three-way switch are identical to the nextWeill models to be introduced such as the Dualtone by which time were badgedFenton Weill. This has two pickups and three-way switch with two volume controls and one tone;wooden adjustable bridge and tremolo tailpiece which is missing its arm. It has a through neck with maple twenty-one fret fingerboard with tiny red fret markers, and the headstock has the ''Dallas London'' logo and original tuners. This lovely guitar is in a good condition throughout, fully working and all originalapart from the pots and jackplug socket which had to be replaced - but I have keptthe originals. This is a rare guitar especially in this condition.
