I bought the bass new in Chicago in 2001 for $1800. The strings were another $120, the bow $125, the stand $55 and the gig bag $75.
It comes with the gig bag and stand, as well as a bow (German style frog). Do note though the bow is a beginner bow and is cracked, and the gig bag is getting old.Bass details:Handmade in the Czech Republic3/4 sizelaminated spruce toplaminated maple sides and back (swelled back)ebony fingerboard and tailpiecenickel plated tunersAmber violin finishD'Addario Helicore strings, medium tensionThe bass has only been used for maybe five gigs, and has always been kept in a rehearsal studio or home studio.
