A great piece of kit, some were Tascam others of us were Fostex! A Dolby c noise reduction unit that has no issues, the breaks are fine, motors, memory and loctaion spot on and the heads have no signs of wear. She records a consistent signal across all 16 tracks with only the normal drop upon return meters.The midi semte I have not used but it keeps telling me that it has stored something from the original owner so i guess it works well.I recorded a 16 track Christmas single at my church last year which was released so i know it is doing what it does well.as I am selling the desk, though I have used this at home I feel that it is now too much for me to really get the best out of. The sound i will miss, the headroom and the fatness of the sound, but i hope 'We' analogue people will keep on showing what real sound is like.....! The front control unit is separate as I have a rare 5 mt extension lead so the control/function and meters can be anywhere you want. No need to run across the room after pressing Rec/play!Please ask any questions you wish and come and have a listen or a play.Many thanks.JONPlease; if you have negative feedback contact me before bidding as I really do not have the time to play around.Payment within 24 hours please and would prefer cash on collection.
