1964 Fender Precision Bass with a Candy Apple red finish over an Alder body. It has a wide and slim C profile Maple neck with a beautiful dark Rosewood fingerboard which has a 7.25" radius and clay dots. All original other than the metal pickup & bridge covers. This bass has plenty of mojo and plays great, it has straight neck and original frets which are in great shape with minimal wear. As you can see this bass has a fair amount of play wear & checking to the finish, there's also some buckle rash on the back. There are small cracks in the tips of the pickguard by each horn. This bass has been fully set up by my technician with a really great action and round wound strings. The solder jolts are clean and unbroken. The neck dates June 1964, all pots date to mid 64, the pickups have Black bobbins and original winds. Serial number:L35681, weight: 8lbs 7oz. Neck dimensions, Nut width:1.691" depth: 0.786" 12th fret width:2.259" depth: 0.949"
