This tuba was bought brand new in 2011 and used a few times in brass quintets while I was an elementary music teacher from 2011 to 2012. Now that I'm a band director I do not have the time to play this instrument as much as I should since I also own a personal trombone, clarinet, piano, and drums that I divide my time to play while at home. This tuba deserves to be played far more often as it has a great sound. It served me well in the brass quintet performances I had. If you have any questions just let me know. I live in Florida at the moment so shipping outside of my area will be tricky. Local pickup will be easy. I'm including shipping in the price of the tuba as I figure that will be easier. So I'm willing to come down on the price if the cost to get the tuba to you is lower than I anticipate. The best option for long distance will be for me to use my own money from the sale towards gas money and deliver the tuba to you, depending on where you live. Anywhere east of the Mississippi River is fairly easy. I could also do Colorado or Texas, anywhere near those states is fine. Anyone on the west coast then we'll have to figure out a way to meet up or I will have it shipped via UPS or freight. Either way, I will pay for shipping. I'm certainly flexible and I want to make sure it doesn't get damaged. This tuba has been kept in fantastic condition with no dents whatsoever. I'm anticipating that my cost for driving to a potential buyer will be $100-$150 for gas @ 35mpg unless it's Western or North Western U.S. Certainly, if you are close to me then we can easily take $100-$150 off the price.
