The Orange Tiger Smokewrap is a custom color from PRS and is not usually available. The maple neck is very smooth and natural feeling - it's not doused with gobs of finish. It has a rosewood fretboard with 24 frets and bird inlays. Electronically, this bass is really ahead of the pack. It has two Gary Grainger pickups that can be switched between active and passive settings using the push/pull volume knobs. The passive sounds are warm and rich, and the active preamp is very open and airy sounding with a natural, dynamic vibe.
