What makes this guitar special: Gretsch's answer to Gibson's Les Paul Jr. or Epiphone's Coronet this gorgeous, true vintage Corvette is finished in cherry & fitted with a HiloTron single coil pickup. Additional features include a chunky mahogany neck & Burns vibrato tailpiece. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case!Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe with typical wear & tear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a nice patina.Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Typical small frets show some wear, but still have life in them. Open-back tuners with cream "football" buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is functioning.Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with 3-ply large black pickguard. Burns tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge. The top strap button was replaced with a standard gold one, but the bottom one is the original Gretsch screw-in type. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 0.8 oz.Pickups: Gretsch HiloTron single coil - 3.085K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with "G" Arrow knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
