PATRICE BLANC STOCKER MONOLITH - UNIQUE MODEL - Worth 9000 euro:This is an exceptional guitar and masterwork from French Luthier Patrice Blanc.Description:Name: "Stocker Monolith"- Hand made in 2005 in France. Unique piece. Value on order (if Patrice wants to make another one): 9000 euro.- Price: 4500 euro / £3840 + shipment fees. (Non negociable) - Stored in perfect conditions since 2005 (in case and dry environment). She sounds today better than ever. This guitar has only be used on one occasion: the recording of an album by Overway in 2006. Never been toured. Brand new strings and up to date maintenance. - Material (precious woods only): body and neck are in mahogany and the table in American maple (tiger pattern). The body is partly hollow inside (see caving on pictures), which makes her sound clearer, more precise and sharp (while still plain and VERY powerful) and with a natural light sustain. Unique Design:Patrice Blanc has worked hard to reproduce the famous dark grey varnish of the "2001 Space Odyssey" (by Stanley Kubrick) Monolith. The whole guitar is covered by this varnish with exceptional looking (even the neck), except the table that unravels itself with a gradient from that grey varnish onto a transparent center, letting the tiger maple appear and being seen. 2 switches: 1 volume, 1 tone + 1 microphone switch. 7 strings (B upper string added).Sculpted bridge. The higher frets are scalloped for better slides. Incredible Sound:Hand made microphones. Scatter winding methods. 1 green humbucker pickup and 1 green single near the bridge. This guitar is able to produce the most incredibly sharp and amazing sound you'll ever hear (truly - you will never hear or play a guitar like this one), ranging from a Les Paul Custom style, up to a Telecaster Thinline. I would ship worldwide (tracked, insured and secured service). The guitar is in France, nearby Lyon and I am happy with hand to hand delivery too (I would actually gladly meet the person I will sell it to). You can test the guitar near Lyon on request as well. Conservation parfaite dans sa caisse et des conditions idéales. Elle sonne aujourd’hui mieux que jamais. N’a servi que pour l’enregistrement d’un album en 2006. Jamais tournée. Cordes neuves et entretient a jour.
- Matériaux (bois précieux): le corps et le manche sont en acajou et la table en Erable Américain tigré. Le corps de la guitare est creux (il y a une cavité interne, ce qui produit un son particulièrement clair, précis et avec un sustain naturel - on peut également la jouer sans la brancher, on entend un son léger).DESIGN UNIQUE:
Patrice Blanc a travaillé pour reproduire le vernis du monolyth de " 2001 Odyssée de l'Espace " de Stanley Kubrick et pour pouvoir recréer ce vernis gris anthracite aux reflets si particuliers. Toute la guitare en est recouverte, sauf le centre de la table sur laquelle un dégradé dévoile progressivement le magnifique Erable Américain tigré.Entièrement faite sur-mesure avec 2 boutons (1 volume / 1 tonalité) et 1 switch micros.
7 cordes (un Si grave en plus).
Chevalet sculpté dans la table en érable / Les dernières cases en haut du manche sont creusées sur le bas (aiguës) pour faciliter le jeu et les slides (voir photos).SON EXCEPTIONNEL:
MICROS FAITS-MAIN, bobinés "à la volée" selon les méthodes d'époque (scatter winding) pour un modelé, une musicalité et une chaleur hors du commun.
1 Double micro près du manche / 1 simple près du chevalet.
Cette guitare peut produire un son très chaud comme une Gibson Les Paul, ou bien très cinglant comme une Telecaster, avec un middle switch qui lui permet également de sonner plus polyvalente comme une Stratocaster. Cette guitare a réellement un son unique et une qualité inégalable.
