I cannot see any repair but there is usually one lurking beneath somewhere so I am assuming it must have had a repair of some sort. This rare, beautiful and incredible guitar is in very nice condition throughout - it has original frets, finish and all electrics including all solder joints. It also has the original case too which is all intact and in great shape. There are just a few dings here and there, I am not certain if the pickguard is original as it looks too clean and the original bridge has been ground down on the underside a bit for some reason and it does have an extra strap button. The case has an extra piece of foam glued to raise the tip of the headstock off of the bottom of the case which is a good thing! Apart from that it all appears straight. The reason why the back of the neck has been over-sprayed is a bit of a mystery. It does not black light like the rest of the guitar does, yet the weird thing is the front of the headstock backlights perfectly and has all the original paint. If there is a repair there then whoever done it must be a real expert and craftsman of extreme talent and magic..If you are into Gibson Firebirds then a reverse body V are one of the most sought after and is the model preferred by most of the classic Firebird player and the medallion series was only limited to 366 guitars and like the Flying V medallion (which I also have for sale) is very collectable.Frets are original and play great, fingerboard has virtually no wear. It plays very well with a fast action and two cool sounding mini humbucking pickups. The reverse body Firebirds are always collectable and the V is the popular choice. You rarely come across these for sale as they are pretty highly regarded and you rarely see them for sale at such a nice, player type price :-)Please have a good look at the 20+ high resolution photos I have posted to fully appreciate the cool condition this great guitar is in
