This is one of the best looking KG14’s I've seen, although the lacquer checking gives away it's 78 years, the burst is still vibrant, and the Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard is beautifully figured. It’s in all original condition, with no cracks or repairs. Tonally it's everything you'd hope for in one of the most important guitars in blues history, effortlessly recreating the famous Robert Johnson tone. Although it's capable of playing any style, it's most at home with fingerpicked blues - it has a honk to it's voice that conjures up bar rooms of the 30's and 40's, if you shut your eyes your mind starts playing tricks. So, a seriously cool guitar, historically very important, super clean, and significantly more affordable than a Gibson L00 or L1. It comes in a non original hard case.
