Finished in an exquisitely vintage correct looking faded burst. Gibson has returned to it's glory days with the new 2016 Custom Shop Historic Reissues.  This guitar features all the anniversary year improvements that produced the most accurate reissues to date.  The long awaited return to a hide glued long tenon neck, tubeless truss rod, one piece fretboard, and the phenomenal custom bucker pickup, Gibson's most accurate reproduction of the legendary late 50's PAF pickups offered. While these have the upgraded 2014 Historic specs, the top on this one is simply exceptional. And the Sunrise Tea Burst VOS finish on this one really captures the vintage look. They are incredible guitars and this one is over the top.  Not only is it a visual piece of art, it's a amazing player as well!Word is getting around quickly that the highly figured R8's we've been enjoying recently are going away this year, as we speak.
