This vintage 60's Getzen Eterna Severinsen is in very good shape with no dents or other issues. All the slides pull easily with excellent popping compression. Smooth, fast valves with no side to side play and excellent plating. Silver plating is very good with signs of use but no major silver loss at the usual wear points. Very straight lines. Brand new felts and corks on the water keys. Comes with original case in good condition but has some sticking issues with one latch. Included are 2 mouthpieces: a Bach 7C and a Schilke 5A4 in fair/poor condition. Also comes with the original warranty and user's guide, and even has the second tuning slide in .458 bore which was included with these early Severinsen's:
"To the New GETZEN Owner:
Please note that two main tuning slides have been included with your new #900S GETZEN ETERNA Trumpet: The one that is in the instrument is marked .460 and the one in this envelope is marked .458.While for most of my work I prefer the larger one (.460) there are occasions where delicate playing is in order when I need the smaller (.458).The GETZEN Company agrees that since it is important for me to have both slides, it might also be important for you. The important thing is to use the one that works best for you, since styles of playing, mouthpieces, and the kind of playing required can vary widely. In any event, we hope you'll agree that this is another step towards providing an instrument that will give you maximum versatility. With sincere thanks and best wishes,
