Epiphone triumph 1945 The Epiphone Triumph was introduced in 1932, becoming Epi's most popular full sized guitar until the company closed in the 50's. Though priced competitively with the Gibson L-7, the wartime Triumph offered a sunburst back and neck, an upscale feature unseen on its Gibson counterpart. This example made in 1945 is a true New York Epiphone which features the prewar snowflake peghead inlay (1945 was the last year for this inlay), correct frequensator tailpiece, correct bound tortoise pickguard, rosewood and original Epsilon-logo 16X1 tuners of which one shows signs of repair. For the rest in excellent condition with one repaired crack on the top, finish on the back/sides and neck shows signs of respray.
