This auction is for a Morbidoni Royal accordion in stunning black and chrome.  This instrument was manufactured in Italy, but I do not know the year.  It has been impeccably kept and comes with its original case and straps.   Morbidoni accordions are some of the highest quality models available.  This instrument is ready to play with good key action and movement.  Please read the follow description thoroughly to ensure there is no confusion about what you are bidding on.  Due to scamming this unit is sold AS IS and I will not accept returns or offer refunds.  I welcome local bidders and will allow them to try the instrument out for free, but I welcome non-local bidders by offering free shipping.  Bidders with 0 Zero feedback or negative feedback require my approval.DISCLAIMER - I am not an accordion player and do not know much about these instruments.  This instrument belongs to my Father-n-Law who received it as a gift from the original owners whom are now deceased.  I've tried to find as much information as possible about Morbidoni and this instrument, but I'm sure I will not do this instrument justice in my description.PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH SPECIFIC QUESTIONS AND I'LL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER THEM QUICKLY!COMPARE - I've search far and wide to make sure I have priced this instrument fairly.  There are units out there that are very close in appearance and design, but most have less switches and the only Royal I found didn't have the amp connection and was not in as good condition as this one.  Prices have ranged from $699-$1900 on those units.  I feel my price is fair and probably under priced compared to other brands with these same setups.TECHNICAL - This accordion weighs about 36lbs in the case.  I would estimate the case weighs about 6-7lbs putting the instrument around 30lbs.  The keyboard is 19 inches wide.  There are 41 treble keys and 120 bass keys.  There are 9 switches on the treble side with 2 of them controlling Mute.  They are as follows [(left>right) Mute Off | Bassoon | Clarin | Piccolo | Master | Organ | Oboe | Bandon | Mute On ].  The bass side has 5 switches with one of being the Master.  They are as follows [ (left>right) Tenor | Bass | Sorprano | Bariton].  This unit also has a amplifier plug and 4 control knobs on the treble side.  There were no cords in the case with this instrument, so I do not know if it should have or what you would need to amplify.  There is a radio style located on the left side on the bass side.DESCRIPTION - This instrument looks spectacular in Black with chrome trim.  The color looks flawless and the chrome is in fantastic condition.  I could only find one blemish on the whole instrument and it was on two of the black keys.  Please see the last picture for the blemish.  All of the keys press without sticking and all of the switches work.  I tried to play this unit and tried every key and it sounded great, but again; I am not an accordion player.  The original black and white padded straps are in great shape as well and were very comfortable.  Unfortunately I do not know how many reeds it may have and I am not willing to disassemble such a great sounding instrument to find out.  I'm assuming that you know what you are looking at if you are interested in bidding or using the BIN option.  The switches on the treble side indicate 3 possible conditions and the bass side shows 4 conditions.  I'm assuming that indicates the number of reeds.  Please DO NOT take my assumption as anything more then that. As I mentioned in the technical section, there is an amp plugjack and what appear to be 4 volume knobs.  The knobs turn nicely, but that is all I can say about that.  From the looks of the plug jack it hasn't been used much.  The bellows move nicely and uniform with no leaking.  The endtips are in really nice condition and the design is very nice.  I cannot stress enough how great this instrument shows.  From the incredible black finish, to the pristine white keys, to the chrome trim it is sure to get attention. This instrument does have the name label MILTON on the forward facing section and I assume that was the name of the original owner.  I've seen other Morbidoni units with names in similar looking letters, so I don't know if it is significant.  BEFORE YOU BIDBIN - Please review all of the pictures included in this auction as well as the images found on my personal website transamcountry DOT com/site/accordion.  YOU will receive the instrument shown in the pictures and nothing less.  This listing is for a Morbidoni Royal accordion in Black and Chrome.  Please pay promptly.TO THE WINNER - I will pack this instrument up securely and shipping will require a signature.  Please inspect the package itself before taking delivery. Please pay promptly and the instrument will be shipped promptly.
