Hi, up for bid, 2011 Gibson Melody Maker, purported to be custom painted by famous artist Chris Cooper, known for his "hot rod and devils" artwork. These are not stencils or decals, but totally hand-painted artwork, and the detail is just incredible. Featured on the front, is a smoking red devil, and a caricature of the 60s style, surf/punk band the Phantom Surfers, on the back is a feather and flame motif. Grover upgraded tuners have been added, but you can always put the butterbean style tuners back on to hide the exposed holes the Grovers have left. This is truly a one of a kind Melody maker and really sets off that 60s, surf/punk, rockabilly style. Shes in very nice condition, plays well, and the humbucker rocks! Fantastic opportunity to own not only a great guitar, but a piece of beautiful artwork as well. Good luck!
