It is lightly stamped "used" on the back of the headstock. This designation means the guitar has a minor cosmetic blemish. It is a completely playable instrument with no sacrifice of tone, structure, or playability. This particular guitar has had a professional repair to fix some damage in the top around the pickup selector switch. This was done very nicely by a Taylor-authorized refurbisher to ensure there is no problem in the future. If you look close under strong lighting, you’ll be able to see a trace of the repair blending in with the woodgrain. The repair is perfectly smooth to the touch and I have included close-up photos. The only other imperfection on this guitar is a small cloudy spot in the finish on the back of the cutaway horn. Aside from what I have described, this guitar is in flawless condition.The best I can tell, this guitar is a custom option from Taylor. Whereas every other transparent Taylor T3 or T3/B I’ve seen has a maple top, this one has a rosewood top that looks a bit more subtle but just as beautiful, and maybe even a little more elegant.
