BEAUTIFUL HAYNES LJD (DEAVEAU MODEL) HANDMADE SILVER FLUTE. 0.16 SILVER BODY, POINTED KEY ARMS, C# TRILL KEY, 14 KARAT GOLD RISER IN HEAD JOINT, GOLD SPRINGS, DRAWN TONE HOLES , A-442. SERIAL NUMBER #51381, MADE IN 2001. HEADJOINT CUT BY JOHN FUGGETTA AT HAYNES.
THIS IS A LOVELY FLUTE THAT IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION. PADS ARE EXCELLENT AND IT PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY WITH A LOT OF DEPTH AND COLOR TO THE SOUND. IN ADDITION TO HAVING THE C# TRILL KEY THE POINTED ARMS ARE ALSO AN EXTRA FEATURE THAT IS NOT STANDARD FOR THIS MODEL AND WAS SPECIAL ORDERED. THIS IS A REALLY BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED HANDMADE INSTRUMENT THAT WAS MADE AT A TIME WHEN WORKMANSHIP WAS STELLAR. WHOEVER GETS THIS FLUTE WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH IT. CURRENT REPLACEMENT VALUE IS $9500.
